Glass cooktops are not only practical but a beautiful addition to your kitchen. However, sometimes your cookware can leave small scratches on the cooktop. Though the scratches can't be completely erased, they can be significantly lessened with the use of special products that are made to be used on these types of cooktops. With regular cleaning and maintenance, your cooktop will be back to shining.

Instructions

    • 1

Wait until the cooktop is completely cool to begin cleaning it and removing scratches. Check to make sure all of the burners are turned off before beginning.

    • 2

Dampen a soft sponge and add some cooktop cleaning cream to the sponge. Rub the cream into the scratches in a circular motion. Apply cleaning cream to the scratch until the scratch starts to become minimized.

Remove excess cream with a dry paper towel and gently buff the area with paper towels until all the cleaning cream is gone. Dampen the paper towel if needed. Wipe the cooktop dry, because any water or cream left on the cooktop can leave streaks or film.
