How to Get Hard Water Spots From Your Dishwasher Off

If you have hard water -- water with high concentrations of minerals such as calcium and magnesium -- you've got a hurdle blocking you from getting clean dishes, cups and other kitchen items. Even with a dishwasher and a suitable detergent, hard water can prevent them from getting thoroughly cleaned. If you notice that your kitchen items have hard water spots on them after cleaning, take measures to remove the stains so you can restore their natural appearance.
