How to Clean the Top of a Ceramic Top Eject Stove

A conventional coil cooktop heats up quickly, cooks efficiently and you can usually purchase one for a reasonable price. The Utah State University Cooperative Extension notes that ceramic cooktops often sport flat burners that heat up slowly but retain heat more efficiently than conventional coils. Cooktops, however, are available in a vareity of styles and materials. If you wish, you can purchase a ceramic cooktop that also incorporates electric coils. Electric coils eject from the cooktop's surface for easier cleaning.
