Unplug the Crock-Pot.
Wash the glass lid with hot soapy water, or place the lid in the dishwasher to clean.
Wipe the inside of the Crock-Pot with a cloth or sponge dipped in hot soapy water. Rinse and repeat until the ceramic crock is clean.
Fill the crock with warm soapy water if the crock contains stuck-on food and is difficult to clean. Let the crock soak for about 20 minutes, and then use a cloth or plastic scrubber to clean the crock. Empty the dirty water in the sink.
Wipe the inside of the crock with a cloth dipped in fresh, hot water to remove any soap residue.
Clean the outside of the Crock-Pot with a damp cloth.
Unplug the Crock-Pot.
Place the ceramic crock in a sink filled with hot soapy water. Scrub the crock with a sponge or a plastic scrubber.
Rinse the ceramic crock with hot water, and then dry it with a soft cloth.
Wash the glass lid in hot soapy water. Alternatively, wash the lid in the dishwasher.
Wipe the outside of the Crock-Pot with a damp cloth or sponge.
