How to Descale a Bosch Washing Machine

Bosch offers compact front-loading washing machines for residential use. Hard water can cause a mineral buildup on the inside of the washing machine, leaving stains and slowing water drainage. Household products such as vinegar and baking soda can descale and refresh the washer with little effort. Unlike commercial descaling products, vinegar and baking soda will not harm your washer's interior with regular use.

     Remove any laundry from the Bosch washing machine.

     Run the empty Bosch washing machine on the hottest setting.

     Add 1 cup each of baking soda and white vinegar to the detergent dispenser as the washer fills with water.

     Open the door when the wash cycle is complete to aid in drying and prevent the growth of mold or mildew.
