Cleaning Hand-Rubbed Brass Faucets

Standing water, vigorous rubbing and surface debris can wear away the hand-rubbed oil and ruin the patina.      Moisten a chamois with water and wring out any drips.

     Wipe the hand-rubbed brass faucet down to remove any surface debris. Rub gently, or you may remove or alter the hand-rubbed finish.

     Dry the hand-rubbed brass immediately with a clean, dry chamois. Hand-rubbed brass is susceptible to water spots. Also dry the faucet after each use to remove any splashed-on water and lingering fingerprints.
