How to Clean a Kenmore Almond Stove Top

Starting off in the business of laundry, Kenmore made its debut at Sears in 1927. In the years that followed, Kenmore became a household name with a line of different household appliances that expanded into other areas of the home outside of the laundry room such as the kitchen. Kenmore stove tops come in a variety of different colors to help fit in with your décor, such as black and almond. Using the gentlest approach, no matter what model of stove top you have, will help keep your stove top looking sleek and new.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off all the burners and allow them to cool down if they have been recently used.

    • 2

Dampen a cloth with white vinegar and sponge it onto tough grease and burnt-on food stains. Saturate them well and leave them to soak for about 20 minutes.

    • 3

Dampen a clean sponge in warm water and scrub the grease and burned-on food away. If you need a little more scrubbing power, sprinkle baking soda over the stains and continue to scrub until they come up.

    • 4

Rinse the areas with a damp cloth or sponge to eliminate any leftover grease and food debris.

    • 5

Wipe down the stove top with a soft cloth dipped into warm soapy water. Use a mild liquid dish soap.

    • 6

Rinse the surface of the stove with a dampened cloth to eliminate the soap.

    • 7

Wipe the stove top dry with a soft, dry towel.
