How to Repair a Eureka Electrolux Turbo Nozzle

The Eureka Electrolux Turbo Nozzle is a small vacuum cleaner attachment that removes pet hair from upholstery, stairs and carpets. The Turbo Nozzle comes in five models and attaches to the hose of the vacuum. When the Turbo Nozzle is attached to the hose, it spins. The nozzle can be repaired if it stops spinning.

Instructions

  1. Check for Obstructions

    • 1

      Remove the Turbo Nozzle from the hose of the vacuum. Flip it over to expose the brush roll. Cut away any string, hair or obstructions from the brush roller using scissors.

      Remove the screws on both ends of the Turbo Nozzle with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Remove the plastic casing to expose the brush roll and belt.

      Check the inside of the unit for dirt, debris and hair. Remove any obstructions.

      Place the plastic casing back onto the Turbo Nozzle assembly. Screw the two screws back into the sides of the Turbo Nozzle using a Phillips-head screwdriver.

    Replacing the Belt

      Check to see if the belt is broken. If the belt requires replacing, contact Eureka’s customer service at 800-282-2886 for a replacement belt.

      Remove the screws on both ends of the Turbo Nozzle with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Remove the plastic casing to expose the brush roll and belt.

      Remove the brush roll from the casing and take off the belt. Detach the other end of the belt from the belt pulley.

      Attach one end of the new belt to the brush roll. Attach the other end of the new belt to the belt pulley. Place the brush roll back into its casing.

      Place the plastic casing back onto the Turbo Nozzle assembly. Screw the two screws back into the sides of the Turbo Nozzle using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
