Burned-on food and liquids can give your ceramic cooktop a dirty, unattractive appearance. Some types of spills, if not properly removed, can also cause the enamel of your stove to deteriorate over time. If you have burned residue on your ceramic cooktop, use safe and natural products that won't harm you or cramp your budget. These products will do the job, but they won't damage the surface of your stove.
Fill a spray bottle with equal parts hot water and white vinegar.
Spray the burned-on stain and wait 45 minutes for the vinegar to soak in.
Scrape excess residue from the area using the edge of a credit card.
Sprinkle the stain with baking soda. Baking soda acts as a mildly abrasive cleaning product.
Dampen a nylon cleaning sponge and use it to wipe away the food residue.
Wipe the area with a moist cloth and dry it with a lint-free cloth.
