The old adage "don't cry over spilled milk" could apply to burned milk on your glass-top stove, too. If a pot boils over, it could leave an ugly scald mark on your burner. This type of stain can be removed fairly easily, but you must use the proper products and cleaning techniques so that you don't scratch your glass range.
Pour undiluted distilled white vinegar into a clean, empty spray bottle.
Spray the milk stain with the vinegar and wait for 30 minutes.
Wet a clean cloth with the vinegar and dab the moist cloth into baking soda. Baking soda works as a gentle abrasive cleaner.
Wipe the milk stain with the moistened cloth.
Wipe the area with a clean damp cloth to remove any residue from the baking soda.
Squirt a few drops of glass stovetop polish onto a paper towel. Rub the paper towel over the stovetop in a circular motion. Allow the polish to dry for about five minutes. Remove the polish and buff the stovetop to a shine by wiping the area again with a clean paper towel.
