How to Get Burned Foods Off Stainless Steel Cooktop

Stainless steel is a shiny surface that is commonly used on surfaces such as appliances, sinks and cookware. If you have a cooktop that is made of stainless steel, you will need to clean it regularly. If you have burnt foods and liquids on your cooktop, you will need to use a cleaning process that is effective and yet safe for the stainless steel surface.

  • Spray bottle
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Nylon cleaning pad
  • Cloths

      Spray the burnt stains with white vinegar and allow the vinegar to soak in for about 20 to 30 minutes.

      Sprinkle a light coating of baking soda over the stain.

      Wet a nylon cleaning pad with white vinegar and use it to wipe away the burnt residue.
