How to Clean Viking Stainless Steel Appliances

Viking manufactures a variety of kitchen appliances, with many of them having a stainless steel exterior. Whether you have a Viking refrigerator, range or microwave in your kitchen, cleaning the stainless steel on the appliance is a necessity to remove dirt, grease, food spills, smudges and other grime. Things You'll Need

Mild dish soap
Soft cloths
Microfiber cloths

Nylon scraper or spatula
Stainless steel cleaner

Instructions

  Mix a few drops of mild dish soap and hot water. Dip a soft cloth into the solution and wring it out well.

  Wipe down the entire stainless steel surface, moving the rag in the direction of the stainless steels’ grain. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and buff the surface with a microfiber cloth.

  Remove caked-on grime by covering the spot with a hot rag. Leave the rag on the spot for several minutes to soften the stain. Scrape gently with a nylon scraper or spatula, and then clean the area with warm, soapy water. Dry the appliance thoroughly with a microfiber cloth.

  Clean the appliances with stainless steel cleaner if fingerprints and smudges are on the surface. Spray the cleaner onto a soft cloth and rub it gently over the surface. Wipe with a microfiber cloth to buff the stainless steel and restore shine.
