Installation Instructions for a FireX G-6

Properly installed smoke alarms can play a vital role in alerting you to a fire in your home. The alarms may help reduce fire related injury and the National Fire Protection Association reports that having a working smoke alarm cuts the chances of dying in a home fire in half. Place smoke alarms in or near each bedroom, as well as in the main living areas of the home. The FireX G-6 requires a hardwired electrical system; prior to installation, have a licensed contractor place a wiring plug and junction box at each alarm location.
