Turn a tennis ball into a secret hiding place. Make a slit along the seam of a tennis ball. Squeeze it to reveal the hollow insides, which make for a roomy place to hide jewelry or money. Once you have filled it, return it to the can and stow it away.

Take apart a pen and hide a few rolled-up dollar bills in side. Use a thicker pen and remove the ink for more room.

Plant your valuables. Put your jewelry or money in a plastic zipper-style baggie. Gently lift a plant up and out of its pot. Insert the baggie into the pot and replace the plant and soil. Or place the baggie inside of your vacuum cleaner bag or deep into your powdered laundry detergent.

Open up your computer printer and place your valuables inside. Printers are generally easy to open and have plenty of space inside for small items. Ensure that the stash doesn't interfere with the printer operation.

Hide your valuables in empty food containers, such as some milk or orange juice containers, and stow them in the refrigerator.
