Lily pads are often attractive accents to a garden pond or marsh area. However, they tend to grow out of control rather quickly. When overgrowth begins, it is necessary to clear the excess lily pads from the body of water. This proves to be an easy-to-accomplish endeavor, when you use the proper tools and a little patience.
