How to Open a Floor Safe

If you have valuable items, such as family heirlooms, gold coins or jewelry; or important documents, such as confidential business memos, contracts or a visa, you might want to protect them from theft or from being viewed by unauthorized people by locking them in a floor safe. Unlike a conventional safe that may sit in plain view, a floor safe can be installed inside a concrete floor, making it more difficult for criminals to approach. You can also hide a floor safe by covering its door with a carpet.
