How to Open a Wall Safe

A wall safe is a great place to store important documents like the deed to your house or a will. Wall safes are easy to hide, take up very little space compared to a large safe, and are very strong and secure. Getting into a wall safe without the correct identification methods is near impossible, but if you have the necessary information on hand you should only need a few minutes to open the safe.

     Enter the correct identification number on the keypad of the safe. If it is an older, combination-based safe, use the knob to enter the correct combination.

     Use your finger to activate any biometric sensors the safe may have. While not all safes are equipped with measures of this nature, if yours requires a biometric signature you will need the person who is linked to the safe.

     Pull the handle to release the latch on the safe.

     Open the safe door carefully.
