How to Open an Electronic Gun Safe

If you are living in a home with children whom you want to keep your weapons away from, one surefire way of doing so is with an electronic gun safe. These safes are designed to keep children out while allowing the owner of the firearm to quickly access it in the case of home invasion or otherwise defending themselves and their family. Opening an electronic gun safe is a simple process that only needs a few basic steps to complete.

     Enter the numeric passcode using the nine-digit keypad on the safe. When you first purchase the gun safe, you will have a four-digit code on the instruction manual to unlock the safe for the first time. If you've not done so already, follow the instruction manual to set up a permenant passcode.

     Unlock the case by turning the lock to the right. Depending on the gun case, you may need a key.

     Slowly pull the door open to allow you access to the contents of the safe.
