Contact the Major Safe Company. Located in Fontana, California, the Major Safe Company may be able to provide you with your combination based on the serial number of the safe. To get this information, you will have to prove that you are the owner, usually with a notarized letter or proof of purchase. In certain cases, such as those for older safes or safes purchased by someone else, you will not be able to get the information this way.
Call a locksmith. Many locksmiths, particularly those who specialize in safes, can help you open your Major safe without the combination. Again, you may have to prove that you are the rightful owner before the locksmith can legally help you. It will be easier for a locksmith to open a safe with fewer numbers in the combination. As safes can have up to six numbers, the time it takes the locksmith will vary, as will the price for opening your safe.
Drill into the safe. Based on the model of the safe and the particular make, you will have to drill at different angles, in different ways. You will need a very strong bit---for example, one made of titanium, or several regular bits. Use this method only as a last resort, and take all proper safety measures, including protective eyewear. Note that drilling into the safe can damage it beyond use if done improperly. Ask your locksmith for advice on your particular safe's model.
