A wall safe is mounted directly into a wall to provide added security. A stand-alone safe can easily be removed from a home. A wall safe prevents thieves from taking off with valuable possessions. This type of safe is available with a key lock, keypad lock or combination lock. A keypad or combination lock requires a series of numbers that are entered into the locking mechanism. A key wall safe requires the use of a single, unique key to open.
