Instructions for a Brinks 4035D Fire Retardant Digital Lockbox

If you are interested in storing valuables in your home, you might want to think about a Brinks 4035D fire retardant digital lockbox. It is smaller than many home safes, and you can feel secure knowing that even if there is a fire, your valuables won't be damaged. Since these boxes are digital, they are controlled by the interface on the front of the unit.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter the code provided to you by the Brinks company upon purchase of your digital lockbox. The LED lights on the keypad will flash green.

    • 2

Open the door to the lockbox while the LED lights are flashing green. Locate the "Memory" button on the inside of the safe door. It is a red button near the lock.

    • 4

Create a custom three-to-eight-digit code and enter it on the keypad.

    • 5

Press the "B" key on the keypad to set the code. The box will beep and the yellow LED will flash again. This confirms that the code has been accepted.
