How to Reset a SentrySafe ESB-3

The SentrySafe ESB-3 is an electronic deposit box for securely storing cash. Opening the safe involves entering a code of up to eight digits or using the special override key supplied with the safe. You might want to reset your entry code if you suspect it is known by someone outside your circle of trust.

      Enter your access code using via the numbered keypad and press "*" or "#." The LED on the front of the safe turns green.

      Turn the main latch knob to the "Unlocked" position and lift up the lid.

      Press the red "Code Setting" button on the inside of the lid. The safe beeps twice and the LED turns red.

    • 4

      Enter a new code of between one and eight digits --- the longer the better --- and press "*" or "#." The safe beeps twice and the LED flashes. The new code is now ready to use.
