How to Open an Electric Combination Safe

Combination safes are common considerations for home protection. Whether they're for keeping documents or guns out of the wrong hands, only those who know the combination can access your property. This cuts down on the worries about losing keys and it allows you to give the password to everyone you trust without making duplicates. Electronic combination safes come with a simple keypad making it as easy to input a password as it is to dial a phone.

Be sure you have the correct password. Different electronic combination safes will have different combination lengths. If you have never used the code before, check the manual to see which code is the default factory setting. Press the "Enter" button or whichever button you push to initiate the sequence.

Enter the numbers of the combination. Push the keys one after the other until the entire sequence is entered.

Press the "End" key, or in cases where there isn't one, press the same key you pushed to begin entering the pass code sequence. Turn the lever on the safe and pull the door open. When you've finished taking things out or putting them in, close the door again.
