Cannon Handgun Lock Box Instructions

Unpack the 1000 and remove the keys from the inside. Store the keys in a safe, easy to remember place.

Pull the foam from the top of the inner case, and remove the battery holder from the inside of the case. Fill the battery holder with the manufacturer-recommended batteries and then connect the power cable to the holder. After it beeps, reach into the case and place the holder in its proper place.

Shut the door and lock the safe. Stick your four fingers into the slot designed for them and practice with the factory default combination several times until you are sure you know how to work the mechanism.

Reset the combination to your own easily remembered one.

Press the Learn Button just under the safe lid until it beeps and the outside LED light turns green.

Enter your new code directly onto the finger pad. For instance, you might press the index finger once, and the pinkie finger pad three times. Press the Learn button again until the LED light turns red and you hear a beep. Enter the combination again and press the Learn button for 2 seconds. When you release the button the light will blink green and the safe will beep five times. The new combination is now ready.
