How to Get a Bill Corrected for ADT

If you have an ADT home security system with a monthly service agreement, ADT may bill you for the alarm equipment and the monitoring service. With so many types of equipment and services available, the bills may occasionally incorrect. Don't panic. Resolving a bill problem is fairly simple. Like most companies, ADT uses pre-recorded messages with option lists for their customer service phone line.

      Call ADT's customer service department at (888) 238-2727.

      When the pre-recorded message begins, press "1" on your phone keypad for home security systems.

      Press "4" on your phone keypad for questions related to your ADT account.

    • 4

      Press "3" for questions about your ADT bill or payments.

    • 5

      You will be connected to ADT's billing specialists, who can correct any errors in your ADT bill.
