     Obtain a power source in your attic. If you need to use a light bulb socket outlet in order to get power then use it. If you have a standard power outlet, that works great too. Run an extension cord over to the eve where you want to install your camera.

     Drill a hole in the outside eve where you wish to install the camera so that you can run power through the hole to the camera.

     Plug in the camera adapter in your attic and feed the power cord for the camera through the hole.

     Install and point your camera in the desired area and plug it in.

     Hook the camera receiver / recorder box up to your television set. This will allow you to see the video from your camera.
