Can Brinks Home Security Be Used in an Apartment?

System

• Brinks will install a basic alarm system in your home for a small initial fee.

Contract

• They do require home ownership and you must sign a three-year contract and pass a credit check.

Owner

• If you do not own the apartment but you can get the owner to sign the contract, they will install a system in your apartment.

Why

• Alarm systems are expensive and require a large initial cash outlay to pay the sales person, the installer and the cost for the system. Brinks Home Security requires home ownership and a contract to ensure they will recoup their initial investment.

Alternative

• If you do not own your apartment and you are willing to purchase and install your own alarm system you can have the system monitored at substantially reduced rates. In some cases you do not have to own your home or pass a credit check (see Resources Section). Always check with your landlord before installing any alarm system in your apartment.
