The initial cost of Life Shield Security is $300 and the monthly payments are $30, as of November 2010. While other security kits require homeowners to purchase a two to three year contract, Life Shield Security offsets its high initial cost with a pay as you go plan, and the homeowner can cancel at any time without penalty.
