Enter your home. Verify the home is safe by listening for the normal pulsing entry delay beeps.
Remove your touchtone phone from the hook and dial "*-C-O-D-E-1." Or, use the alarm system's alphanumeric keypad to disarm the system by pressing "C-O-D-E-1."
Listen for one long beep, which indicates the system is disarmed. A voice on the phone will say, "Alarm system is off" and the keypad will display "1-OFF" when the system has been disarmed successfully.
Dial "*#" to check for any open doors or windows. You can also check by pressing "STATUS" on the keypad. The alarm cannot be armed if any sensors are open.
Dial "*-C-O-D-E-2" on the phone. When the system is armed, a voice will say "Alarm system is on Level 2" through the phone. Or, use the keypad to arm the system by pressing "C-O-D-E-2" or "COMMAND," followed by the number 2. The display will then read "2-OK TO EXIT NOW," followed by "2-STAY." You will then hear two beeps, which mean you can exit without triggering the alarm.
Direct any departing guests to exit your home before the end of the exit delay period, which occurs when the alarm beeps twice again.
Dial "*#" from your touchtone phone or press "STATUS" on the keypad to check for any open doors or windows.
Dial "*-C-O-D-E-3" from the phone. A voice will say, "Alarm system is on Level 3." Or arm the system from the keypad by pressing "C-O-D-E-3" or "COMMAND," followed by the number 3. The display will then read "3-AWAY OK TO EXIT." Three beeps will sound to signify the beginning of the exit delay period.
Exit the home before the exit delay period ends, signified by three alarm beeps.
