Instructions

    • 1

Remove the battery compartment panels off the back of the wireless video cameras if they are battery powered. Insert the proper number of batteries into the battery compartment, lining up the positive and negative ends of the batteries with the text labeled the same that is inside the compartment. Place the battery compartment panels back on the back of the cameras.

    • 2

Place the tip of a flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver against the switches on the control panel at the bottom of each video camera. Move the switches up or down with the tip of the flat-edged jeweler's screwdriver according to the broadcast channel desired for the camera, as provided from the list of channels you can select in the instruction manual.

    • 3

Stand a ladder against any wall facing a door or window that you want to monitor with a video camera. Screw a camera plate to the wall with wood screws using a Phillips screwdriver. Screw the video cameras to the wall plate using metal screws and the Phillips screwdriver. Extend an external antenna from the camera if one is present.

    • 4

Plug the video camera's power supply -- if the camera is not battery-powered -- into a wall socket for power. Plug the camera cable attached to the power supply to the power port on the camera.

    • 5

Place the wireless video receiver next to a TV in a room from which you will monitor the video cameras, such as your bedroom, for example. Plug the receiver's power cord into a wall socket for power. Extend an external antenna on the receiver if one is present.

    • 6

Insert an end of a composite video cable into the video output socket on the receiver. Insert the other end of the cable into a composite video input on the TV -- this input will be on the side or back of the TV.

    • 7

Turn the TV on with its remote. Press the "Menu" button. Select "Video input" from the menu selections. Choose the "Composite" input to which the cable is attached. Press the "Menu" button again.

    • 8

Turn the receiver on with its power button. Select any of the wireless video cameras to monitor by moving a selector switch or a selector dial from one channel to another.
