How to Reset a DSC Alarm

DSC is an alarm system company owned by Tyco International, a multinational electronics corporation found in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. If you do not disarm the alarm system when you enter your home or business the system will be triggered and an alarm will sound. You will need to reset the alarm system in order to cancel the alarm. Resetting a DSC alarm system is straightforward and should only take a few seconds providing you have an access code for the system.

     Go to the control panel when you hear the alarm.

     Flip down the cover, if present, and enter your alarm code.

     Wait a second as the alarm stops and the alert is canceled.
