How to Program a DSC 1500 Alarm

Digital Security Controls is a company that specializes in home security systems. Home security is essential no matter where you live. You don't have to live in a particularly dangerous environment to want to protect yourself and your family. Although some digital security systems no longer need programming, you must specify the exact time you want to enable the DSC 1500 alarm system.

  Open the cover of your DSC 1500 alarm central unit. The cover is on the left side of the unit and lifts up.

  Press this combination of buttons to enter the programming menu: "* 6" + "Master code" + "1".

  Enter the time you want to enable the system beginning with hours and then followed by minutes (HH:MM). Enter the time in military time. For example, you would enter 4 p.m. as "16:00."
- 4
  Press the "#" button on the keypad and the DSC 1500 alarm is now programmed.
