Dimango is a seller of the Carlon model HS43 series of wireless motion detectors. You can set up these detectors in any room in your home or office and activate them using a remote control. Instructions

    • 1

Turn the motion sensor so its back is facing you. Loosen and remove the screw holding the battery cover, using a flathead screwdriver, and push the cover downward to remove it. Insert the three AA batteries in the sensor. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw with the flathead screwdriver.

    • 2

Locate a suitable area in the room to mount the sensor. It must be 2 to 10 feet off of the ground and should point toward an entrance no more than 30 feet away; use a tape measure to verify the height and distance. Keep in mind that the sensor has an adjustable bracket that can move 30 degrees up or down and 120 degrees left to right.

    • 3

Place the mounting bracket, included with the sensor, in the area you selected. Draw small reference points on the wall where the two screw holes in the bracket are, using the ballpoint pen. Remove the bracket from the wall.

    • 4

Drill holes in the wall, using an electric drill and a 7/32-inch drill bit, where the two reference points were drawn.

    • 5

Press the plastic wall anchors, included with the sensor, into the holes drilled in the wall, using just your thumb.

    • 6

Place the mounting bracket on the wall, where the holes are, and tighten the screws into the holes using the Phillips screwdriver.

    • 7

Slide the sensor on the end of the pivoting arm on the mounting bracket.

    • 8

Adjust the sensor so it is pointing toward an entrance point.
