How to Install an Ademco 5816

Home security systems protect homes from burglaries, and installing sensors on your windows and doors helps prevent strangers from entering your home. This is imperative when there are children in the household, and acts as an important safety feature for women living alone. Honeywell offers the Ademco 5816 Window and Door Transmitter, a sensor that integrates with various home alarm systems. The 5800 series wireless transmitters feature a range of one mile and self-installation, which reduces the overall cost of installing a home security system.
