How to Install Ademco Wireless

If you want to bypass having a technician set up your home alarm system and do it on your own you will probably want a wireless system, like an Ademco alarm system. You don't have to deal with a lot of wiring when settings up one of the systems but it will take time and there is programming involved. The good news is that the whole things shouldn't take you more than a couple hours.

Instructions

  Turn the wireless transceiver keypad over and press the snaps on the bottom of the back casing down to remove the case and expose the wiring.

  Run the keypad's internal wiring through the holes in the back of the casing and replace the casing.

  Place the keypad mount over the section of wall you would like to place the keypad and tighten the included screws in the screw holes in the wall mount.

  Run the keypad wiring to the wireless receiver according to the diagram in your user manual.

  Mount the receiver on your wall near the keypad using the included screws.
- 6
  Turn on the keypad and enter the program code included in your user guide to program the keypad and sync it to the Ademco transmitter.
