Enter the secret password into the security system's control panel to temporarily disarm the system. Inform any subscription monitoring service you have just disarmed the system.
Go to the wall where the existing siren that is wired to the electrical system of the house is located. Place a ladder against the wall so you can reach the siren.
Trip the circuit breaker in the fuse box to discontinue electric power to the wall where the siren is located.
Remove the screws from around the siren using a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the siren off the wall. Pull the wiring out of the hole hidden by the siren. Twist off the screw-tab connectors from each pair of twisted wires.
Wind the already stripped ends of the wires attached to the back of the second siren to the wiring coming out of the hole in the following fashion: the end of the black wire from the second siren around the ends of the black wires twisted together; the end of the white wire from the second siren around the ends of the white wires twisted together. Twist the screw-tab connectors back on each pair of twisted wires.
Place both sirens against the wall, side by side. Screw the sirens into the wall with wood screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
Restore power to the electric line so that the sirens can both be used with the security system. Rearm the security system at the control panel. Contact the subscription monitoring service so they know the system is again actively in use.
