How to Remove a MasterGuard Alarm

MasterGuard provides fire safety solutions including heat alarms. These alarms are a safety device that is installed in homes to protect and warn in the case of a fire. The alarm is mounted on a wall or ceiling and it will sound if smoke or a fire is detected. The alarm runs on a battery that needs to be periodically checked and replaced to ensure proper safety. To inspect and replace the battery, remove the MasterGuard alarm from the wall.

     Turn the alarm counterclockwise to release it from the wall bracket.

     Pull the alarm away from the wall.

     Remove the battery. Flip the alarm over and unscrew the battery cover. Remove the cover and pop the battery out.
