How to Send a Remote Alarm

An alarm system is designed to react when someone invades the home it has been installed in. While many alarm systems sound a siren or horn, a "silent" alarm can be sent instead to law enforcement or some other suitable person miles away. Add a telephone dialing module to an existing wireless alarm system to send an alarm remotely. Security supply centers or select home and garden shops sell the device. You'll also need a few supplies from a hobby store or electronics shop.
