Mount the control panel to the wall with wood screws using a Phillips screwdriver. Plug the panel's power cord into a wall outlet for power; alternately you can wire the power leads from the control panel directly into an exposed electrical junction box.
Enter the default password into the control panel to disarm the system. Insert the plug at the end of each wire into an input on the control panel; the input may be on the panel's top or bottom or require the lid to be opened first.
Navigate through the menus until you come to the "Configuration" or similarly named menu. Follow the menu prompts to tell the alarm system that the sensors are now connected. Navigate back to the main menu. Enter the password to rearm the alarm system.
