Remove the adhesive paper backing from one side of the vibration sensor. Place the sticky side of the sensor against a closed window, near a bottom corner.
Place fresh batteries into the battery compartment of the wireless transmitter connected by wires to the sensor. Mount the transmitter to the wall beneath the windowsill with wood screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
Place the wireless alarm receiver on a table by your bed. Plug its power cord into a wall outlet.
Press the "Sync" buttons on both the transmitter and the receiver to sync them together wirelessly.
Screw the bottom of the motion detector alarm onto the screw at the top of the platform of the tripod. Open the legs of the tripod.
Stand the tripod so that the sensor on the detector's front faces an entranceway into the house, for example, a door leading to an attached garage.
Plug the detector's power cord into a wall outlet. Open the detector's side panel.
Adjust the "Dusk/Day" setting to the middle line between "Dusk" and "Day" so that the sensor will be always active. Adjust the "Sensitivity" knob fully counterclockwise so that any motion will be detected by the sensor.
Place the wireless receiver in another room, and plug its power cord into a wall outlet. Rotate the volume knob on the receiver fully clockwise.
Press the "Sync" or similarly named button on both the detector and the receiver to synchronize them.
Mount a wireless video camera to a wall so that the lens faces the area to be covered -- for example, the front door. Use wood screws and a Phillips screwdriver to do the mounting.
Rotate the external antenna in the direction of the room that has the TV to be used to view the video feed. Plug the camera's power cord into a wall outlet for power.
Place the wireless video receiver next to the TV. Rotate the external antenna so that it faces in the direction of where the wireless video camera is located. Plug the receiver's power cord into a wall outlet for power.
Insert one end of a video cable into the video output connection on the receiver. Insert the other end of the video cable into one of the video input connections on the TV -- typically this will be on the back panel, but some can also be found on the front, depending on the manufacturer.
Turn the TV on with the remote. Press "Menu," followed by "System," followed by "Video input" -- the actual names may vary, depending on the manufacturer. Select the video input that the video cable is plugged into. Press the "Menu" button as many times as necessary to exit the menu settings.
Press the power button on the wireless video transmitter to receive the video signal from the camera. Watch the video being transmitted by the wireless camera on the TV.
