How to Power Down an Ademco Vista 20P

Ademco manufactures home alarm systems, including the Vista, high-tech system that covers all areas of your home. You can even set it up to be voice-activated. However, there may be times when you would like to power down the Ademco Vista completely. You can do so quickly right from the keypad of the alarm system console.

     Use the keypad on the console of your Ademco Vista 20P. The console is the wall-mounted control panel.

     Press and hold the "1" button on the keypad. Notice the word "Off" next to the "1."

   • 3

     Continue to hold the "1" key down until the the unit powers off. All lights on the console will turn off and the LED display will go blank.
