Choose a 4-digit code for the alarm that is easy to remember.
Turn the control panel over and locate the battery cover. Firmly press the upper part of the cover and slide it down. Insert four "AA" batteries according to the polarity guides shown inside the battery compartment. The alarm will chirp, indicating the batteries are correctly installed. Replace the cover.
Enter the 4-digit access code using the keypad. You must enter the code within five seconds of installing the batteries.
Choose the door that you want to install the unit on. Locate the closest stud in the wall next to the door.
Use a drill to drill a pilot hole in the wall, then secure the included screw to the wall. Place the unit on the screw using the notched out area on the back.
Measure an area on the doorjamb that is 1 1/4 inches below the top of the unit and parallel to the alarm. Use the double-sided tape to secure the magnetic contact to the door.
Press "4" on the keypad to set the alarm when leaving your home. The LED status light will flash and the siren will chirp, indicating the alarm is activated. You will have 30 seconds to leave before the alarm sounds. If you accidentally trip the sensors, the alarm will sound for 60 seconds. Close the door to reset the alarm.
Enter your personal alarm code within 10 seconds of returning home. The alarm will chirp and the LED light will flash, indicating the unit is disarmed.
