Installation Guide for Ademco

Instead of having a technician come into your home, you can install the Ademco security system yourself. This system alerts you of any burglars or malicious people near or around your home. Each one typically comes with an Ademco unit, receiver and screws. You need to mount the unit and receiver to your wall and run the wires through.

Instructions

  Flip over the Ademco unit. Remove the casing from the back to expose the wiring.

  Run the wires through the holes of the casing. Replace the casing back on the unit.

  Place the unit over a section on your wall. Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver to mount the unit to the wall.

  Run the wiring from the unit to the wall. Follow the diagram according to your manual.

  Mount the receiver on the wall with the screws and Phillips screwdriver.
- 6
  Turn on your Ademco unit. Enter the code provided in your user manual. Synchronize the unit to your receiver.
