How to Default a Radionics Lock Code

Many Radionics alarm systems let you change your personal code if you believe someone outside your circle of trust has access to your property. You cannot automatically return your alarm code to its default setting because it would pose a security risk if an intruder knew the procedure and the default code of the system. Changing the alarm code involves entering the existing code followed by its replacement. Once changed, the new code takes effect immediately.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the "Command" button while the alarm is disarmed, then press "5." The "CMD" light comes on.

    • 2

Enter the code you want to change, for example "1234." Press "Ent."

    • 3

Type a new code to replace the existing one, for example "5678." Press "Ent."

    • 4

Re-enter the new code to confirm you entered it correctly the first time. Press "Ent."

    • 5

Wait a second while the alarm returns to standby mode. The "CMD" light goes out when the system is ready for use.
