How to Reset the Lockout Code on a DMP Alarm

Installing a security system in your home might protect you from personal injury or theft. The Digital Monitoring Products Co., or DMP, makes wireless alarm systems to alert you to unauthorized entry into the home. In addition to the master setting, you can assign temporary pass codes to multiple users, providing a convenient option to authorize limited access to pet sitters, contractors or guests.

      Access the user menu. Press the "Command" key until "Menu? No Yes" shows on the

      display. Select "Yes" and enter your user code.

      Press the "Command" key again until "User Codes?" displays, then press the "Select" key.

      The display will then read "User Code?" and "Code No: ******." Press the "Select" key again and type in the new user code when the display changes to "Code No: -,"then press the "Command" key. The display will show " User XXXX Chngd" to confirm the change, with the

      "X's" representing your assigned user number.

      Change the code for other assigned users. Press the "Command" key until "User Codes?" displays, then press the "Select" key and "Chg" when the display reads "Add Del Chg." Select "Chg" and enter the specific user number at the prompt, then press "Command." Enter the new code when the display changes to "Code No:****" and select "No" when the display reads "Master? No Yes" if changing a code other than your own.
