How to Reset an Ademco 6128 Keypad

The Ademco 6128 keypad alarm provides added security to your home or business and is configured with default settings. You can change the default settings of your system through the Program Mode. If your device becomes stuck in a certain program mode and fails to get out of it, reset your keypad to the default settings to get it working again.

     Press the “1” and “3” keys on the keypad simultaneously. The keypad beeps three times and two dashes and two zeros flash in the upper left corner of the screen. You have entered Program Mode.

     Press the “9” key. The display flashes “EE.”

   • 3

     Press the “1” key to reset the default values. The keypad beeps three times and two dashes and two zeros flash in the upper left corner of the screen.

     Press the “*” key to exit the Program Mode.
