ADT offers touch-screen and keypad control panels made by Honeywell, including the 6160VPADT talking touch pad. Honeywell's Touchcenter touchscreen offers the simplest of basic commands using icons and text, with push buttons below the screen that include a panic button. ADT's Pulse system for homes features a state-of-the-art control system with components made by Honeywell. The Pulse system's controls, which can be accessed remotely via mobile phone applications, are accessed manually in the home on the Honeywell Wi-Fi touchscreen. This touchscreen doesn't just arm and disarm the security system, though; it also monitors the home for smoke and fire, controls video monitors, turns indoor and outdoor lights on and off, tells the time and offers news, sports, traffic and weather reports.
Integrated video monitoring systems made by Honeywell are included in some ADT home security packages. Video feeds can be monitored remotely via the Internet with Honeywell's integrated video monitoring systems, allowing the homeowner to view monitored areas of the home in real time.
Honeywell manufactures several specific detectors used in ADT security systems, including smoke, motion and glass-break detectors such as the ADT-PSI or ADT-ISI photoelectric or ionization smoke detectors and the ADT-PHSI 3-D multi-sensor. The detectors are linked to ADT's monitoring centers so that when trouble occurs, emergency services such as police and fire departments can be notified quickly. The company also makes photoelectric beams and infrared detectors for ADT.
Honeywell manufactures indoor and outdoor antennas to boost the ADT security system's signals. The antennas are omnidirectional, and some models come with adaptor and coaxial cables.
