Once you have your master code set, you can use it to add additional users to the system. Because the GE Concord is designed to work with both residential and business environments, you have up to 229 user accounts available. To add another user, press “9” and then enter your master code. Use the “B” button to scroll down to User Codes and press the pound key. The display changes to Regular User Codes. Press pound, use the “B” button to select a user number between 000 and 229 and press pound again. Enter a four-digit code for this user and press pound to save.
In business environments, it's never a good idea to let former employees continue to have access to the building. Therefore, you can delete users to prevent access with their code number. To delete a user, press “9” and enter your master code. Use the “B” button to select User Codes and press pound to change this to Regular User Codes. Press pound again, use the “B” button to find the desired user account you want to delete and press pound. Enter your master code and press pound to remove the previous user code from the system.
Because you'll need this number to arm and disarm the system, it's important to choose a number you'll remember easily. However, this doesn't mean you should pick something that would be easy to guess, such as your birth year or last four digits of your phone number. Choose a number you will remember but isn't obvious to someone else.
