How to Keep a Wood Stove Running and Remove Ashes

A wood stove is a way to heat a home or center heat in a specific area of the home without using fuel oil, electricity or natural gas. If you have an abundant supply of wood, a wood stove could save you thousands of dollars over it's lifetime. You must perform maintenance on your stove, including frequent ash removal, to keep it running effectively. It is possible, though not preferable, to remove ashes while your stove has a fire in it.
