How to Remove a NuSet Lockbox

NuSet lockboxes protect keys and other small items when they need to be stored outside the home. Mainly used by Realtors, the lockboxes have a padlock-like shackle that is used to hang the small safe off piping or other strong structures. You might want to remove the NuSet lockbox if you decide to hide your valuables in a different location. You must have access to the safe if you want to open the shackle for security reasons.

     Enter the combination via the four dials and slide the lever upward to open the lockbox.

     Turn the reset key supplied with the safe in the shackle keyhole inside the lockbox. The shackle pops up. Be careful not to use the reset keyhole on the side of the lid.

     Remove the lockbox and move it to a new location. Push the shackle firmly down when you are ready to close it. Pull upward to make sure it has snapped in place.
